Emilio le dio a estos shorts y baberos de ciclismo el nombre "400-Mile" de la prueba del producto que consiste en 400 millas durante 4 días. Su lógica era que muchos pantalones cortos se sienten bien para viajes de más de 100 millas. La verdadera pregunta es cómo se siente ese sillín cuando te subes a la bicicleta a la mañana siguiente por otras 100 millas... ¿y a la mañana siguiente? Esta fue la inspiración para el diseño, la almohadilla y el nombre.

Worth every penny!
For years, I have been wearing a cheap pair of cycling shorts with fat padding on the indoor trainer. After all, what does style matter in the pain cave. I assumed my discomfort was just part of sitting on a bike with no lateral movement for long periods. One day, it dawned on me that I spend so much time there, I may as well turn to the brand I trust for comfort and performance, as well as style, and it has been a game changer. Why didn’t I make this move sooner?

Best Short
These are the BEST shorts I've ever worn. I first started wearing them about 15 years ago. I've even sent some back for some repairs! These got me through HUNDREDS of miles and multiple Ironman races. My shorts and bike fit are key to success in riding comfortably.

Five or in these for years. I have four of them in my drawer and keep rotating them. When they start to get old, I get a new one. Couldn’t find a better bike shot continue

Nice, comfortable shorts
Love the way these shorts feel. They are very comfortable, and the pockets come in handy, especially when running off the bike. Recently, I wore these during a 5+ hour ride on an indoor trainer. While nothing is going to feel "great" for such a ride, these shorts made it much more tolerable than other brands I've used in the past, including Ralph and Assos. Yes, they are pricey, but worth it for the longer days in the saddle. I find that I can also run in these without any problems.

My favorites
I had 2 of these shorts for many years and while planning a 750 mile bike trip with some friends this summer knew I needed a new pair. They arrived quickly so I could get a few rides in them before the trip. I saved them for the days over 80 miles, and they were as great as I remembered. Thank you De Soto for continuing to make this great product !

This is my second pair of 400mile bike shorts. I'd have more because they are great if I could afford them. This is definitely case in which you get what you pay for though.

400 mile cycling shorts - perfecto
Incredibly comfortable with great support and padding. Used for 4-5 hour rides and they held up really well with protection integrity. Was between sizes (M & S) and went with small. The first couple of times worn were the tightest they would be… and after a couple of uses they ended up being perfectly snug. Ordered 3 pair and rotate them. Very happy!

Best bike shorts ever!
These are the best, most comfortable bike shorts I’ve ever owned!! The only issue I’ve had is, when they get wet - like on a really hot day or in the rain, they tend to chafe in the front on the private parts. When wet, the fabric gets a bit rough and can cause some serious chafing on the privates. The padding is better than any shorts I’ve ever owned and extremely durable. No chafing on the bum, ever. I’ve even run up to 10k o after a long ride with no issues.
